I have found several Playbooks on craigslist.org for $100! I live in New Orleans but check your local listings.

Also, geeks.com has some 16gb for $180.

if you're willing to get a used one, checkout Cowboom.com (owned by Best Buy). they're $150, free shipping, and 30 return period (from when you received it). they grade them on a scale of 1-10. I got an 8 and it looks brand new, but it didn't come with a USB cable and sleeve (no biggie). I paid $120 when they had a sale last month.

if you want new, then Amazon has 16gb for $205 and possibly no tax (depending on your state).

I search classifieds for "unopened" new product received as gifts but then converted to cash offers and have picked up 16 gig and 32 gig PB's for $169- and $200- respectively.
Infrequent listings but they do pop up occasionally, GOOD LUCK hunting!

May not meet your criteria but possibly someone elses viewing your thread . . . . starting june 22nd Futureshops' parent company 'BestBuy' is sweetening the 'deal' FS had this past week buy any size Pb and for an additional $50cdn get (after today at BBuy) the leather journal case, charging pod/cradle, and hipstreet screen protect scrn.

fyi their asking price is 99c more than Rim msrp, BlackBerry - PlayBook Price - BlackBerry Tablet Price - Buy BlackBerry PlayBook !

Of course the next hurdle would be which Bbuys have anything in stock ! ie. Canada's own "LondonDrugs" had 3-4 wks of flyer advertising the PB, but any local outlet I dropped by to chk on instock was soldout prev. to flyer advert' or only had a lonely 16gb . . . .

p.s. since i'm still within the FS 14 day period i'm going to pop in tomorrow and see if FS will honour their parent companies purchase incentive of this extra item Did drop back into FS and they did match the Bbuy package. I made it easy for the CSR by going to the dept. for the hipstreet prod. And having the Bbuy flyer in hand. I even stated the monetary option but of course it has to be same . ....
