Default Anyone have trouble with Docs to go and Playbook?

I use a Mac desktop and when I send a Excel file to the Playbook via email, all of the year dates want to come 1998 and not the current year. I have called RIM/Dataviz and they didn't have a clue what I was talking about.

All of the rest of the data comes up correctly except the year i.e. 12/12/2012 shows up as 12/12/1998.

Any clue as to how to fix this or work around it.

I noticed all bridges files in the file manager having a creation date of 1.1.1970... maybe it's a general problem with the OS and the creation date of docs...

That's weird, I've never had an issue with the date format on my excel files on the PlayBook.

Some of the files that come with it are dated 1969.

Sorry, typo. The bridged files (my own docs on my Berry) are dated 1970.

I wonder if it's mac related. I'm using a PC and my Doc and Excel files are dated correctly.

    Default Docs to go

Does anyone know how to import pics from the playbook pic file to a word doc on docs to go? I create my newsletter on the playbook and would like to import pics to the doctor. Any ideas?

AFAIK Docs-to-Go does not support embedding of pictures/image files.Smart Office for BlackBerry PlayBook supports embedding images in the word processor document. Smart Office is on sale for CAD9.99 for a limited time; the regular price is CAD14.99. Once in a document you can access the menu by pressing on the upper screen in the black area outside to the left/right of the document. To make the menu vanish simply swipe upwards over the menu. Perhaps the UI will become more intuitive with the upcoming release of the NDK with the elusive Cascades.
