    It's not an update for cells, but a brand new operating system with brand new phones: The BB10 series with os10. We should have an os10 update for the PlayBook shortly after that. Although, I'm sure we will continue (hopefully) to have updates for our current devices.

    If finally that is true and RIM don't let down their current devices they will become one of the most reliable tech company. I wish it could be true. Then we could say: "hey, learn about: nokia and samsung and lg and...!!"

    Heh well now doesnt that sound familiar.

    I just hope the last of the holes in the OS, and features, are finally plugged. Maybe then RIMM will start trading in the double digits again.

    No upgrades for cells, for this is a totally new platform, you must purchase the new devices as they roll out. As for the PB,BB10 is coming and is projected to launch in Q1/Q2(I'M thinking more like June ) but again once it is ready, it will be up to the carriers to release it......(hope you don't have AT&T Lol)

    Should see a beta first and I'd imagine not too much will be held back from it since the features will be known as they will already be on the phones.

    Mosy PB's are wifi only so the carriers will have very little to do with it.
