A good free program is es file explorer. It is an android app so you need to know how to side load. It works great and allows you to access wifi shares over your network.
Here is the link. It is a free app for androidbut is not available in the bb pb appworld

Also another use I found with it is the ability to access my phones sd and device memory through bluetooth. This allows you to stream music from your bb phone to your playbook. As well as to view pictures you have taken with your phone on your playbook.
One use I really appreciate is the ability to d/l any file to the playbook and vice versa. I get annoyed opening pictures on my playbook from my phone one at a time. This allows you to select all the photos you have taken and transfger them t once over bluetooth. Then you can view them at your leisure on your playbook. Without that annoying spinning circle after each photo. It also has some nice built in image viewer software that preloads all the photos while you are viewing them.
There are a few bugs. Just functionality that the pb android player has yet to implement. Esfe will force close on you when u attempt to do anything that's too advanced atm. Though it works great for me and I think everyone should have it - 09-06-2012, 05:48 AM #6

I downloaded Dukto and it is great! Very easy to use, works with my work wifi network (have to enter IP address) and at home (where it automatically sees the Playbook on the network). Yeah, I wish it didn't force the screen to vertical orientation, but oh well, I can live with that.
