Getting a new Playbook for Xmas, and a rapid charger!!! I know I am going to want to show it off at the family Xmas dinner at my Aunts, so was hoping to have the PB charged.

For my first charge, is it ok to use the rapid charge cradle system?

After that, I wanted to use the cradle to use my PB as my alarm clock. If the PB sits on the cradle too long (like a day or two at a time) this will be ok, right?

Yes and YES!!!! Cradle and rapid charger have the saftey stuff, so it will not harm the PB.

Make sure you are going to have WIFI and allow some time for the PB to download the newest OS at startup.
