Well...try this :
Start uninstalling apps one at a time and see if you can find the culprit.

Generally, the camera canNOT be user repaired by rebooting or reinstalling the OS. Rim has been known to fix it even after the warranty expires but no promises.

The PB has a one year warranty to the original purchaser. It also has 90 free Tech support. I do not know how Rim deals with "quasi-tech support v. warranty"

And it seems to happen a bit more often after an OS upgrade - at least, that seems to be the case.
