Got a playbook from other half and am wonderinghow to get android apps? It doesn't seem to let me and the apps on bb world are expensive! I'm not very technical by the way can anyone help?
Thank you julie - 01-13-2013, 09:23 AM #2
Playbook sideloading - YouTube
Any one of those will show you. It's very easy
Not all android apps work by the way - 01-13-2013, 09:45 AM #3
You can check goodereader.com for Android apps for the Playbook.
There are also Android apps in appworld but they are not labeled as Android. A file manager is GhostCommander. There are also two free browsers in appworld that are android.
And not one to pass up a chance to welcome a newcomer, welcome, but others will have to "New here so bare with me" as I prefer keeping my clothes on in such a public forum! - 01-13-2013, 01:29 PM #4
Sideloading is the best way - and this site has all the best apps ported over:

The easiest way to sideload android apps is to get your bar files from goodereader or elsewhere, then install Google Chrome browser on your PC, then go here in Chrome and follow the instructions- PlayBook App Manager
