Allowed to post Ebooks on here?
I was wondering whether I would be allowed to post some ebooks that I have?My sister burnt some to a disc for me, in epub and mobi format and I thought it would be nice to share. They are quite a few recent books, although I'm not sure how she converted them.
Can anyone let me know if I can attach or link to them, or if anyone is interested in general.
Thanks - 12-04-2011, 01:28 PM #2
Provided the copyright on the content has expired *and* you meet any license terms for the distribution of the whole package, you should be okay posting stuff. Otherwise you'd very likely be violating some author's copyright, which would expose you to a lawsuit for damages or prosecution in one country or another.

I'm not sure of Crackberry's rules. But I think direct links to "copyright" materials are not permitted but a text copy of a link (not active) may be permitted since there's a thread with a number of movies that exists, or, at least, did.
But, again, copyrighted materials belong to someone and posting links deprives that owner of whatever they may be entitled to. - 12-04-2011, 05:52 PM #6
