About 4 or 5 times in the past two weeks the same adult website opens itself in a new window while I am browsing the web on my playbook. Anybody know why this is happening and how I can stop it?

Just for grins, have you tried clearing your browser cache, cookies and history? (Options > Privacy & Security > Clear All)

Popup malware like this has a fix on Windows machines for IE. Firefox has plugins to stop or fix this.

But QNX is secure and Enterprise Ready. So I think you're out of luck.

Doing things "just for grins" is what got the OP into this mess in the first place.

Turn private browsing on, turn "accept cookies" off. Delete all history with the "clear all" option. Close the browser. Reboot the Playbook. Failing that, re-install the OS.

No we are talking about the playbook, RIMs new 7" tablet which uses an operating system much like windows PCs too so like windows PCs if you have issues, you then re-install the OS...hey guess what even BB phones have an OS which you can re-install if you have issues too

    Wow go figure eh??.

Gotta leave those Flash based porn sites alone my friend.

Try to clear all the cookies, cache, history and do a hard reboot. Sucks to have to reload the OS for that problem.

Curious do/did you have the Android player loaded?
