outrageous......we were promised bb10, then pb at least would be supported. Both promises broken . i still prefer thks 4 year old box....but software is dying. What confidence does this give in any BB ?

It started a few days ago. No way to get rid of it! Even tried deleting CB10 and re-installing. I might try sideloading the android app if thats possible. I wonder if just signing in on the native broswer on the PB would work

It's not just the playbook browser. It's the same way with Opera on my desktop.

Try fast browser and set the user agent to BB10. Should solve your problem.

this is a forum all about BlackBerry, and Playbook is BlackBerrys only tablet. what changed, who can tell us, and will it or will it not be changed back? i have tried many buggy browsers on the Playbook and am sticking with the stock browser and origami. this problem is on both of them. i request an official answer to the question. last time I posted on this i did not know if it was just a problem with my device, now i know it is a SETTINGS change done by the webmaster.

is it necessary to keep this settings change?

    thanks!

Same here. Happens on all Playbook browsers. Looks like it started happening just a few days ago, as this is the main way I access the forums.
    Something changed on the site.

My suggestion would be download the "CB forums" app from the PlayBook BlackBerry World.

For some reason I didn't know that app existed until now! Unfortunately I found that once I read a post, I could not figure out how to get back. In any case, sounds like a forum problem across the board so hopefully it will soon be fixed.

To go back to the previous screen on the Playbook (in the CB app) just place a finger (I use my left thumb) on the bottom left side of the bezel and swipe up and towards the left edge of the Playbook --nice and easy! Or you can use the back arrow on the bottom left of the screen.

Wow, did not know about the left swipe. That worked! Bringing up the Android menu and using the left arrow did not though.

Thanks for the tip...makes the app actually worknow!

Are you using the Android app or the BlackBerry World app, because the left back arrow at the bottom in the BlackBerry App definetely works. I have never tried sideloading the android app, so I'm not sure about that. Glad the swipe helps. This is the great thing about CB. We can all learn from each other on here.

I'm using the app from BlackBerry world. The left arrow (the one that comes up when I swipe down) just dismisses the menu that pops up, but swiping definitely works.

    Thanks for the help!
