    Default The accidental calendar

I just found out quite by accident that tapping the time and date area at the top of the home screen opens up the calendar and alarm clock. I had no idea.

That feature is well hidden and has been similarly serendipitously discovered by others. And, yes, you can set an alarm using it.

How do you set an alarm?

Edit: Nevermind. I figured it out. You first need to open the clock app at least once to select the alarm clock as the default.

You can also open the Clock app by tapping the alarm clock within the Calendar app.
