I have a bunch of (over a thousand) .7z files I want to store on my PlayBook. When I need one to use, I want to unzip it, then use it. I am having trouble finding an app that can unzip the .7z format on the PlayBook. Free or paid, native or Android, has anyone found success with something like this?

Not sure but you could always access the files over wifi from your pc and do it from there remotely. not as convenient but it is an option

Uncompressor does this I think. Certainly does. Rar files anyway. Download and have a try, it's free

On the few password protected RAR files I've uncompressed, this app has always worked.

Don't doubt you have an issue, but think there might be different types of RAR files and the app doesn't support all.
