I went into my local Best Buy today to pro order my 64GB unit. They are not taking store orders for the 32 or 64 GB units. The only one coming into stock is the 16Gb. I had to preorder using their online service and pay the extra $30 for express delivery.

FYI, It did give me a delivery of 04/19-04/20.

At this point what is an extra day I guess, at least there is a end in site.

Maybe it's just certain stores because the one I went to they only had preorders for the 16gb and 64gb not 32gb. I wanted the 32gb but ended up going with the 16gb hopefully when it's time to pick up they will have the 32gb in stock.

as release is 19th thats what i would expect anyways

im guessing its a generic `get your place in the que` deposit, we used to do the same for most phones pre-release where i worked, it was never a deposit for the actual device, simply a hardware deposit to reserve one.

I just drove out to the Best Buy here in California & they are only taking pre-orders for the 16GB as well. For the 32 & 64 you have to order online. Sucks

Best buy canada and best buy us run 2 totally different store systems. Looks like us stores are only taking 16gb orders at the moment. Not sure if this will change
