    Is this feasible as a quick fix?

    My thoughts was I can probably pick up a cheap decent condition 16gb playbook and transfer the working 64gb logic board from the playbook my son broke.

    Seemed like a quick cheap win, but will it work?

    I do this all the time.Yes you can interchange boards with a case.

    Great. Just seen a 16gb model for �20 advertised, cheaper than fitting a new digitizer to the broken 64gb model.

    It works, i have exchanged boards. After the swap, i observed one thing, the playbook did not come on when i pressed the power button. I had to connect the charger before it came on. After that, it has been working perfectly well.
