Just came across a very nice deal on the 64GB Playbook -$229.99 at Best Buy.
It is currently back-ordered, but orderable with an Estimated Arrival: 12/03-12/15/2011

When I got mine on discount (5% over cost) I got it for about $625.

Don't they have to honor it if it says 64gb?? It doesn't seem like a mistake either especially after the whole 199 deal in Texas, maybe Best Buy wanted to outshine staples? But anyways I'm so excited thanks OP!

no they don't. they usually send out a bulk email saying this was a pricing mistake and, please, see our T&C > link >.

however, it is quite possible that they have tons of unsold 64gbs. you'll find out pretty soon.

well, i checked their site for all the playbooks and they have the 16g at 200 and the 32g at 300...i'm going to play it safe and call tomorrow before i order...i was planning to buy the 16g at staples on fri but with this deal i think i'll wait...i wonder why bestbuy didn't announce it as a blackfriday deal....i also checked all my nearby stores for pick up and they all say unavailable...i'll be calling those stores directly tomorrow.

Yes the sales are great - only problem is nobody will have any in stock at the stores....

I was wondering though, how do you back order something that supposedly is discontinued and no longer being made ? hmmm

I'm gonna look at this positively even if it comes out as 32gb cause it's still cheaper than staples and now I've secured one while the black friday shoppers have advance knowledge of the staples deal.

What's funny about this offer is the $200 two year protection plan - for that price the best protection plan is to buy a spare!

What's the best price going on a 16g by the way? Haven't even used up my 16 yet...
