Yeah, I would have to guess it was a weak connection like esqlaw. For me, it took approximately 15 minutes for both the download and installation. But other than that, liking the new update?
I didn't think that this would be a complaint against RIM. People you can't expect RIM to provide you faster internet as well. Talk to your service provider, or check your network.
For the first few weeks, my playbook would download the updates and install them (over wifi.) But beginning with the last update (and now this most recent one) it would not download, so I hooked up to my computer to do it. Very fast that way, anyway.
