Was playing around with the NFB app that comes preloaded with PlayBook and chance upon several video clips that's in 3D (under HD Channel). Am wondering if anyone has tried viewing 3D on PlayBook with 3D glasses? Does it work?

You need to connect a 3D TV and watch it with glasses.

Thanks for clearing that up. Always thought PlayBook will be able to play 3D movies as it's 3D supported. How cool is that if one can view 3D straight on PlayBook!

Really?! Am so going to try that out! Are the glasses that you mentioned the same as those used to view 3D on 3D tv?

No, the TV's use shutter glasses that get IR-synced with the TV. On any device that's not fully 3D enabled (like pretty much any non-3D display, not just the playbook) you're limited to the two-color plastic glasses. It will never look as good as on the TV.
