So I bought my 32gb playbook last month when it was selling for $299 plus tax at Staples.ca. Boxing week sale comes, and now they have it at $249. I am aware that they have a 14 day policy for returns, but is there a way I can do a price protection and get that $50 back? Or am I pretty much SOL?

not an expert but i think your sol... electronics are electronic and the reason it has only a 14 day window.

reason why the sale price adjustments happened after this window. sometimes it is more expensive (win some lose some)

I purchased my 32GB playbook from Sears. While they have a 15 day return policy for electronics their price protection is 30 days. I was in yesterday and got a 57.00 refund. You should check Staples policy. You may find it's the same.

future shop's policy is 30 days price protection except for computers, tablets, and most electronics. those are 14 days. they get away with murder since the majority of their business is computers, tablets, and electronics.

After looking at Staples web site it would appear their policy is 14 days as well.
