I have a 16GB, but really want a 64GB model now. My iPad 2 is a 64GB and never thought I'd fill it and now fighting for space and when I use my PlayBook, I really want more storage now.
Love the little bugger and I bought it on a whim out of simple curiosity. I'm glad bought it as it goes with me everywhere now.
BlackBerry PlayBook owner by choice along with my iPad 2, leave the hate for the underdog (RIM) at the door...

Try using the search function for the forums, there have been at least a dozen threads EXACTLY like this and i have posted paragraph answers in probably half of them.
Just like anything else, when making a choice this big you need to SEARCH. There are many answers available if you use the search function.
That being said... in simplest terms:
16GB @ $200 = $12.50/GB
64GB @ $300 = $4.70/GB

I live by this rule.
It is better to have it and not need it rather than need it and not have it. (in reference to 64gb vs lower mem version)
So my first new 64gb is awsome but I got a used 32gb also at a great price from Cowboom ( I could not help myself really.hhaa)
Get the 64b version and you will not regret it in the long haul.Last edited by barbarianthemadserb; 05-02-2012 at 07:21 AM.

i went with the 64GB, hard to beat a $299 price and just $50-$99 for the extra memory is worth it for me. really like the PlayBook so far with just a week of using it.
Blaq is a cool app for Twitter and really like Slacker Radio also!

Had my 16 since November, still can't keep it filled. I game, I DL apps, I watch movies on it, and I read. I don't believe in regressing back to 1980's large music players though, which is why I never agree with the "get the 64" club. Plus my phone has 48 GB. If I had a small phone storage I might have considered a larger PB. I also don't want to delve too much into a tablet though because I'm a gadget addict and I could quite possibly end up buying a different one every year.

I bought the 16GB version and I'm glad I did. I use it about 1-2 times per month, so I'd be kicking myself if I'd spent twice as much.

Picked up a 64GB off of Cowboom for less then $200, they usually hover around $245 for a pre-owned unit. It showed up in great condition with the only defect being one stuck pixel. Instead of returning it with in the 30 days that Cowboom allows I just contacted BlackBerry Support and was quickly issued an RMA and they treated it like a brand new purchase and now I got a flawless PlayBook. Good luck with which ever you choose to get.

6 months into my PB experience, on 32gb. lets pt it this way, i have 24 episodes of Star Trek Deep Space 9 at 45 minutes each, 8 episodes of Thundercats at 25 minutes each, 9 movies of various size, 32 full albums totalling 482 songs, about 200 pics, 15-20 documents, and ive still got 7.71GB free...
unkess you re a HUGE media , and by this i do mean HUGE because im a media myself, then the 32GB is more than okay. Ive never been short on space, but then again, i do have 47TB of desktop storage so everything is on there, and i copypasta to the PB as i need to, delete once ive watched it. if you can store on PC watch on PB, then even the 16GB should be adequate. - 05-07-2012, 10:06 AM
