Default useless text suggestions

Does anyone know why my 8220 offer such a useless bunch of words on predictive text? If I type "Hello from Montreal" I get suggestions such as "gello, gellp, hellp, deom and best of all, mobteesl. Even with some deom hellp from gellp I couldn't find mobteesl in any english dictionary, or probably any other language. So why does this %$#@ program offer such garbage in the first place? Even Blackberry tech doesn't know. Thanks.

It has learned from errors that were typed, entered, and probably erased, but it still remembers the error. I've noted this on my Tour while using predictive text and it will 'learn' my mistakes and offer them as a suggestion while I'm typing. I've removed the worst offenders from my Custom Dictionary, but some will still pop up from time to time.

There are two places gobbledygook can show up: 1) custom dictionary, but more likely 2) SureType learned words. I had that problem a year ago. Go into Options, choose Language, click Input Options, and uncheck Auto Word Learning. Then use my year-ago post to clear the existing learned words.
