Screen not working

I recently got a blackberry pearl flip, and was using it for almost 2 weeks, then one day I went to bed after texting on it and woke up to find that the phone wouldn't turn on. I left it plugged into the charger for a couple hours and found out that it would turn on, because the keys and scrollball lit up. I realized the phone was completely on when it kept vibrating indicating I was getting messages. The problem now is that both the inside screen and the front screen are both black, and won't show anything. Everything else works, I can call people, get messages and use my phone (if I can do it without seeing anything).

Have you tried a battery pull? More info plz.
