Will they release an update for our phones to OS 5.0? Or can they run it?

there is a beta release for the phone out there somewhere. i am using it now. i like it, but i'm pretty sure the gps doesn't work with the build, but that didn't matter to me very much.

I found an old link that still works, at least it did when i tried it just now. "http://rapidshare.com/files/285031628/8230AMEA_PBr5.0.0_rel355_PL3.5.0.30_A5.0.0.230.exe ", click on the free user button and wait for countdown to zero. Back up your 3rd party apps and take the usual precautions. Good Luck.

It's 5.0. Somewhat upgraded UI. However it's got some bugs. Notably, GPS does not work. There are several older threads concerning 5.0.0.230. Do a search and read all about it. Remember, it's only for 8230. I found that when I tried to install it, it wouldn't load unless I wiped the phone first. Make sure you have the installer for whatever OS you have now, in case you don't like the 5.0.
