Default Works like a charm...

Just letting you know that it didn't brick my 8220 for T-mobile. I also customized the firmware by deleting "Voice Activated Dialing" (vad) and "Fave Five" software.

hi there... thanks for the update... The previous OS that i downloaded from the thread in the start of the forum is still continuing with the 'reboot' of my phone every now and then on a random basis. Is this new OS in spanish...I mean will it impact any of the applications in terms of the language...? I am just too exhausted loading and reloading the OS on my phone.. it works fine for a few months and sometimes just a few days (like this time around) and then starts rebooting all over again... nearly 30-40mins for a reboot every time!!

no, it was posted by a latin american carrier, but the OS is multilanguage, so u can use it in english and have no issues with other apps.

you should give it a try, maybe it can fix your phone finally

Thumbs up! The new 4.6.0.308 OS works great so far, after a week of heavy use. Thankfully my phone does not reboot during sync like it did with 4.6.0.305. Finally I can move on from 4.6.0.278!

Thumbs up Mod: Please Sticky This Thread

Would one of the moderators mind Sticking this thread? I've been using OS 4.6.0.308 for almost two months. It's rock solid.

Update: using it gave me restarts when you least expected, draining the battery more rapidly than .305. These aspects made me turn back to .305
