Question media card issues

Hi BB fans,

I have a BB Peal flip 8220, I haven't had any issues with this until recently.I had a bunch of MP3 and photos on my 2GB(Kingston) micro SD.I went to listen to my music via bluetooth. The screen said *No Songs* I did a Battery pull-Still nothing .Next step I did was Remove & Reinstall of the microSD -Still no music.
I checked all of my settings:
Media card support -ON
Encryption mode - NONE
Mass Storage Mode support - ON
Auto Enable Mass Storage Mode When Connected- YES
Application Memory Free Space-68.1

A MEDIA CARD IS NOT PRESENTLY INSERTED
Uh yes it is I put it there(LOL).

My next step was to wipe my BB and reinstall the OS.(4.6) that worked and I had all my music and photos back. For matted my 2GB card and reload music.

things were fine for a day then back to the *No songs*
I tried my daughters 1GB(Samsung) card that I formatted on my laptop, added some of my music.
Install 1 GB and get *No Songs*

ARGH! I am missing my fave ringtone!!
Any Ideas???

Could be the media slot in the phone. I would try cleaning the slot as best you can. Even though there is a slot cover, it is pretty easy for pocket lint and garbage to get in there. I wouldn't recommend using a can duster since it pushes garbage further into the phone. I've used one of those tooth-gum go-between cleaners to clean microSD slots before. It's like a mini bottle brush, but less abrasive.
