Inside screen Black! (outside still works)

Took my phone running with me and I think it got a little sweaty (whoops!) now my tried and true blackberry flip is no longer working! I took the battery out and let it dry out, and when i put the battery back in it started up and looked normal, but when i flip the phone open, the inside screen is blank. (black). Outside screen looks totally normal, and i can see that i have received email and text, and people can even call me (and i hear it ring), but i am unable to answer the call. I've flipped it open and closed many times, but the inside screen remains black. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!!! i love my little flip.

UPDATE
when flipped open now my screen briefly lights up, then fades to black. any help?!
