As far as I know the software isn't supported.

Does this require flashing a different firmware?

Or is there some other way?

4.6.1 Also curious all the unofficial 5.0 links have been taken down is there still a place to download it?

We have one custom recovery jl commander that can wipe the blackberries.
then use the desktop manager to install another one.
