How Activation Verizon Blackberry Pearl Flip 8230 on Reliance

Hello Friends,

I purchased Verizon Blackberry Pearl Flip 8230 from ebay.com,
It is catching Reliance CDMA network and when I dialed *228 for activation,
getting a voice response that “The phone could not be activated”,
I wrote Reliance customer care regarding this and got reply from them that phones purchased open market could not be activated on Reliance,

because the phone’s ESN is not in the database of Reliance,
Can any one help me to activate my l existing Reliance number on the Blackberry 8230.

CDMA phones are not interchangeable like GSM phones are..

next time please do your research before attempting stuff like this.
