I unlocked my new blackberry pearl 8220. I can't get internet or picture does anyone know what to do?

yes I have a data plan. they said it could be something with my settings or my service books!

Colleen you could try this for your internet issue.

Go to Options >Advanced Options>Host Routing Table>Menu>Register Now.

See if that gets things going.

Do you have the internet icon?( Looks like a globe) If yes are you getting any error messages when you try and surf?

What exact problems are you having with pictures?

well since i just did what you told me to do, i can't receive email or get online. When I send a text message I just get an X when I go on the globe with the t i cant get on. I do have at&T. Now my phone is all messed up How do I get email back

email is now working.......its just the mms not working when someone sends me a picture it says not retrieved

Some carriers do not support MMS. Have you checked with your carrier to see if they do?

ok problem when i try to connect to the internet it says "Unable to connect to the internet please try again later. If the problem persisti please contact your carrier it didn't say that before i did what you said to do

att might not have service books for the 8220 yet because they don't have the device yet. does the 8220 have wi fi ? you might be able to browse from a hot spot

Sorry I'm on wap so couldn't see your carrier, thanks for confirming. Not sure what else to suggest. Might be best to give AT&T a call to see if they can assist further.
