Is there a way to place an image on the front screen LED? Ive seen pictures where people have done it... but im not sure if that was a photoshop'd watermark or not.

Some themes have a background on the outside display. I saw some posted at blackberry theme park.

if you get the blackberry theme builder you can customize everything including the from screen

sorry the front screen.. if you so a search they have come out with a 4.6 theme builder that lets you do all that.

will it block out the clock on the front screen though?
