Default Flip Battery Cover compared to $!3.00 Chinese LED Lamp
I recently bought an Amazon Kindle 1, the ebook reader. I just received the Mighty Bright LED accessory light, ordered for $13.16 from Amazon as well. It clips on the Kindle to allow one to read in bed. It received 4 1/2 stars out of 5 from 479 customer reviews.

The battery cover doesn't have any play in it, and snaps shut and stays shut. Why couldn't RIM make the Flip battery cover to do same? The Mighty Bright was 13 bucks!

Same here. Only time it came out unexpected was unboxing the phone and removing the plastic label they put in it with some info in it.

put two 1" strips of double sticky tape... batt. to phone.. cover to batt. and be done with it.

btw. mine went flyin' down a 1/2 flight of concrete stairs with it on..
