Whenever I try to answer or place phone calls, send a text, or anything, I get this error.

The phone will also just randomly reboot to a white screen with the error message on it.

Can anybody think of why this would happen?

Here is what it means:

524 LMM error An object has been marked as recovered by the Low Memory Manager, but it was not freed during a garbage collection. This is only checked in the simulator under the control of the JvmDebugLMM application switch

As far as the fix, I'm not sure, but I would try a battery pull first.
If that doesn't work, the only thing that I can think of us reloading the OS. No biggie to do that. Just use one of these guides.
