Default Endless reboot fixed

well i cant speak for the rest of 8220 owners but i had my 8220 in a box of old phones and decided to take a 2nd whack at fixing it.....grabbed my heat gun and heated the board for a short period like 2 minutes, dont leave the heat gun in one spot...move it around.....waited a few minutes, hooked up phone to pc and voila.....no more reboot while loading software, os loaded perfect and in less than 5 minutes and this is 2 weeks ago and phone is still running without problems, havent tried wiping it and loading new os since then....i hope this helps some of you 8220 owners...

I gotta thank all the people who took time to do posts on problems with the 8220. My problem was not being able to load the OS. I spent hours on this, trying everything I read, with nothing from BB or Tmobile that helped; The info on crackberry helped. BB decided it was a hardware problem even though I emailed a copy of information where some were able to get the phone going using BlackBerry Master Control program.
I looked at the information that the phone circuit responded to heat. Came up with the idea to put the phone on frozen gel packs while plugged in to the app loader. IT WORKED!!
Had the back off with the battery in setting on one gel pack and put another on top of the phone while the app loader loaded. Got the error box once during the upload; left the phone on the gel packs and resumed after 2 minutes. Went right to the end and phone is working fine now. I'm not sure how long it will last; it's been less than 24 hours since I did this.
