Default Disconnect call by closing flip

Is there a setting that will tell the Flip to disconnect a call upon closing the phone rather than it being necessary to push the red button? The button on my son's phone is worn out and it's getting very difficult to disconnect calls. He says he's looked through the settings but can't find one.

There is no setting for the Flip to hang up on closing. It is automatic - whether auto answer is on or off. If your Flip isn't hanging up when you close it, then something is wrong with the phone.

Thank you for the info, and I assumed as much, but he says it isn't disconnecting. I'll check it myself when he comes home tonight.

it should disconnect on closing unless he is using a hands free headset or bluetooth set. but then he could finish the call thru those so doubt it may be the case. if its not disconnecting at closing tell him to try a battery pull and then try again.
