uh... I'm not quite sure what you're looking to do... Have you tried to turn the phone sideways?
The 1200x1600 is number of pixels across X number of pixels down. If you're looking to take a picture with your 2mp camera (1600x1200) and have it come out as (1200x1600), it's the same size but turned 90 degrees...
It is simply how the pixels are laid out in the cmos sensor in the camera... IE: it's a hardware limitation, set this way since almost all cameras (ie: 35mm) when held normally, produce a picture that is wider than it is tall (4"x6" prints?), Those portrait pics (6"x4") were achieved by simply turning the camera...
