Browser needed to get data plan, data plan needed to use browser

Hi,

I just bought and unlocked a Blackberry Flip 8220 branded with T-Mobile. I use it with Fido, in Canada. I don't have a data plan but Fido offers a daily plan (20 MB for 3$; expensive but I don't use it more than 2 ou 3 times a month, so I don't want to pay 25$ for a monthly plan). I can only activate this daily plan by going on fido.mobi using the phone's web browser over the 2G network.

The problem I have is that my Blackberry has only the BB browser and the hotspot browser. No way to navigate to Fido's website by the 2G network. I configured the TCP options, selected «Register now» in the Host routing table, didn't work, what else do I have to do?

Use the wifi to access the Fido mobile site. That would be quickest, IMHO.
