Blackberry 8220 T-Mobile Price! - $349.99
Ouch $349.99.. I don't think the 49.99 rumors are true at all.
I cant post a link, search for upcoming phones on t-mobile.com and it shows the price..
I hope its an error.Last edited by microhaxo; 09-26-2008 at 03:05 PM. Reason: cant post link.

ok i just checked the website but i dont see that price up, now if you are right, which might be a high possibility then my wallet is gonna take a severe beating. Hopefully current T-Mo customers can upgrade for the $49.99 price or at the very least a price that's cheaper than $200 lol For both our sakes and everyone else holding out for this phone I hope the price isnt going to just be straight up $349.99 That would be very sad

If that's really the retail price that's going to suck for me. I can't do phone upgrades since i'm on a T-Mo dealer account.

yea, this sucks bad though.. I thought this was supposed to be marketed towards the budget consumer. <= 179.99. The phone will still sell but not nearly as much as it could. Dont get me wrong, the phone has good features but its not the best flip phone out there. NO 3g, kinda bulky. IDK...

I am sure there will be an upgrade price before it is released. However. That is how much I paid for my curve, with a partial upgrade.

I seriously doubt it would be that price. Tmobile IMO would be stupid to put it at that price point. Im going to assume just looking at the various Markets that blackberries are in that this will be priced 249.99-149.99 with a 100-50 mail in rebate, this is just speculation on my part, and if the iphone 3g is priced at 299, I know its not direct competition, but...........you get my point

I think the $349.99 is the RETAIL price, not the 2-year new activation price.

Retail price, that's cheap.

When the first Pearls came out, on Let's Talk they were $100 *after Instant rebates) and capped off with a $100 MIR. Free for me! Suppose there's a possibility of that, eh?

Depends on what RIM and Tmo have worked out I imagine. If there is a contract to pay tmo huge bonuses for more phones sold, Tmo could go for a lower price.

I wonder how long after the release before this phone shows up on wirefly or letstalk. I'd be willing to wait if it meant a free phone plus 50 bucks (my last phone and the wifes were like this and we were able to pay the ETF on sprint with the rebate checks
