Default battery lose with phone off

When I turn my phone(8220) off at night(12am) then back on again at 10am, I lose about 15% battery strength. It used to be, if it went off at 70% it came back on with 70%. Tmo sent me a new battery--same thing. If I pull the battery out at night it will hold whatever % it came out with. Something is draining either battery with the phone turned off. Anyone's help greatly appreciated. Tony

    Hi Tony,

Keep in mind that whenever when the device is "off", it's still draining a little bit of juice...that's pretty darn normal....especially in 10 hours as you've stated. A 15% drain in that time period, even when off is very reasonable. I wouldn't worry at all. Just plug it in at night if it bugs ya

Also keep in mind that Lithium Ion batteries do have a "digital memory" of sorts. They can absolutely be calibrated and conditioned for a longer life and longer charge. There are a bunch of articles out there explaining this. Here is one that sums it up pretty good....
