new to creating BB themes

I just started to make BB themes, and i would like to know a couple things:

a) Do i save as jad or adx? and what is the difference

b) how do i upload so that other BB users can see (or if anyone would like to be the middle man, please pm me)

Save as JAD for OTA downloads. I am unsure about the other file extension.

I am not sure how to get them on here, screencaps and then cut down in an image resizer maybe ?

JAD is for OTA downloads. ALX is for loading through Desktop Manager.

If you do not have OTA hosting you would want to export the theme as an ALX file, put the .alx and .cod into the same folder and send them to a compressed folder. Then you would load that as an attachment onto your post here for people to download.

To post screenshots you want to have a screenshot program on your computer (JLCmdr) or on your Blackberry (zonasnap, captureit) to take the screenshot. Then upload to Photobucket, or a similar image hosting site, and put the link for the image in image code ( [ IMG ] link goes here [ / IMG ] - remove the spaces) directly into your post.
