New Blackberry Pearl Flip 8230F Trooper Typing

Can anyone tell me where I can download the Trooper Typing for my new Blackberry Pearl Flip Phone (#8230F). I do not want the auto typing (words pop up as I type) and am told I need the Trooper Typing to turn it off.

I had them remove that auto-type feature at the Verizon I bought the phone on saturday. I'm not sure what trooper tying is but I can tell you how to change to multi-tap mode.

When your typing (an email or txt msg) hit the menu button and scroll down to change from SureType Mode to MultiTap Mode.

No problem. I hate that Auto-Type feature. That's the first thing I asked them to remove when they handed me the phone.

Just FYI, Trooper Typing is a game on the Pearl Flip; it came on mine, but it's from Cellular South. I've got no clue how Verizon hacks at theirs. But yeah, just take it in and they should be able to take care of it for you. I keep mine on multi-tap all the time, seems a lot easier for me personally.

I have a Verizon Pearl Flip--Here's how you do it, if you didn't set it up when you set up your phone originally (and if you set it up with the help of a VZW rep, they probably had you skip through all this because I suspect they don't really know much about BB's)

Go to options> Language> Input language
select English (United States, Multitap)

Save your changes.
