Default Theme I downloaded OTA slowing down my BlackBerry?

I recently got a T-Mo Blackberry 8120. I've gotten really used to it but I was wondering why when I activate an ota theme, it seems to slow my blackberry down so much? It seems like I see the hourglass (or the theme version) a lot more often when I have a downloaded theme active.

It shouldn't slow down your berry with a downloaded theme. Maybe adding the new theme has reduced your file free memory. Whats your file free memory at?

the magic number is 12 MB, so with 10 i think you will see a bit of a "lag". I am just under 12MB and i see a little bit of a "lag" and when i say little i mean a wee bit little

Go to Options >About and tell us what OS are you running, 4.2.0 or 4.5.0? If you're not running 4.5.0 I suggest you update your device to the latest Operating System...

I'm at 4.5 but it seems that when I change themes it runs fine. I guess its just some that won't run right.

Have you pulled your battery? I had the same problem with a couple themes I downloaded OTA, pulled my battery and cleared my cache files from the browser and it made a big difference.
