Default Will alarm still work if phone is on standby?

I use my phone to wake up in the morning, and I like to keep it in its holster for protection. I was just wondering if the alarm will still go off when the phone is on standby in its holster.

Probably yes but don't know for sure. Why don't you set the alarm for 15 minutes from now then put your phone on standby and see what happens?

Yes it does still work. Even if you turn your phone off your alarm and calendar reminders will continue to work. I believe this is even the case with a full power down!

Haha I get the same way. I'm so addicted to forums that I sometimes rely on others to help me fix my issues. Maybe that's partly because I work in customer service and I spend all day fixing other people's issues.

We all get those brain fades, but in regards to your question, I learned something here.

The one nice thing about the built in BB Alarm (versus say the WM built in alarm) is that it takes priority over pretty much everything else. This is very reassuring considering how much an alarm is usually depended upon

I know that the alarm still works when the BB is powered off. That actually scared me saturday morning when I wanted to sleep in! LOL
