Default when adding contacts

Question....

When I add a contact on my pearl 8130 and hit save I see the data arrows in the upper corners transmitting and receiving. Where or what is it doing?

When I log into yahoo I dont see any new additions so where are they going or what is it doing?

Blackberry's are always using data in some way... that's normal.
It's not sending your new contacts anywhere.
