I have a T-Mobile Blackberry Pearl 8120, and sometimes I get a lot of lag when I go to access some of the apps. The device would even "freeze" or lock up on me at times. What could cause this??? Low memory? How is something like that corrected? I have temporarily fixed the problem by deleting one or two apps. Thanks for any help.

Low memory can cause this. What is your file free at? Go to options>status and post that number.

Is it possible that I may have "too many" apps on my Blackberry???

That is under 5 Mb and likely the source of your problem.

    Start with a memory optimization:

Is it possible that I may have "too many" apps on my Blackberry???
The memory is used to store Sun Java, your device OS files and workspace, applications and finally your data.

You can view the size of your data with:

Options / Status. Menu / Database sizes.

If your datebase is larger then a couple Mb, you may want to consider purging the older data to free up additional memory.

Applicatons do occupy memory space, you can indeed have to many installed.
