Newbie to crackberry.com and to a blackberry phone. I got the bb 8130 from VZW L.A. about a week ago. Does it really matters that top corner of my phone by where the reception level is indicated, the "EV" is gone. It only shows 1x. I stop getting email about a day ago and cant go on the web on the phone.
Yep. Listen to the options and select option 2. It reprograms your phone and updates roaming capabilities. When I bought the phone the service rep said I should do this once a month. I haven't because VZW reps really don't know too much about their products but once in a while the reprogramming helps.
