I work for Verizon and to answer your question, YES we will help you out even though you purchased your device thru telesales. All of the above is true except for upgrading to the most current software (it does not fix the problem). I can guarantee you that getting a memory card will fix your issues. If the pohone gets too bogged down with 3rd party apps, txt msgs, recent calls it will start to erase things on the phone. I would suggest a minimum of a 1gb memory card. If you want to save things on it i.e. music and pics...I would go for a higher card. But yes, please do visit a VZW store for help.
