    ok. i just got a new BB 8130 from Verizon and i love it. however, i keep losing signal with the internet and won't connect to the net unless i do the battery pull. is this normal? does it matter if i have signal strength at all? thanks for any advice

    That is definitely not normal. It could be a third party program or possibly a defective phone. You wouldn't be able to know unless you brought it to the store and ruled out that it is not a defective phone. Everyone with a BB has to do a battery pull every so often but you should not have to do it on a daily basis.

    the only program i download is Opera Mini and i have updated the OS from .60 to .97 verizon is the only company i can get service. but then again since updating the OS, it hasn't knock me off. ill update after a few days.

    Did you do a *228 after the OS upgrade?
    If I remember, I did an option 1.
    Also you might need to resend your service books.
