I just updated to 4.5 and I have a couple questions about some of the applications...

First off, what is the MDS activation deal and what does it do?

Secondly, What is the Cell Broadcast Service and what does it do?

And lastly, how come I can't add my personal email addy to this phone, when I had it on here before? My IP is with Qwest, gives me an @Q.com (part of MSN) and I can't add it, just keep getting an error saying check the information and try again...

Any advice on any of this would be appreciated!

Resend your service book from the BIS website or from the phone. That should take care of the email problem. The MDS is a BES thing and if you don't use you don't need it. The cell broadcast I am not sure about. Anybody correct me if I am wrong.

No luck with the service book, IS there a list of which email providers are supported somewhere? I thought MSN addresses were....
