Updated my software and now my volume during a call is low, how do I make it louder?

Have you performed a physical battery pull since completing the upgrade process? (With BB on, remove battery. Wait about 30 seconds and replace.)

So, do you mean even at top volume during a call, it's still quieter than it used to be?

I pulled the battery and no difference.

What I need to know is how to make the volume louder. How do I get to the volume setting?

My business partner with a Pearl 8130 left about 10 minutes before my last post, so I couldn't look at his. Does the Pearl not have up/down volume buttons on the side?
Also in the Phone app (press green SEND button or Phone icon), press MENU aka BB button and select Options, then General Options, and see if there's a spot to select Default Call Volume. Set it to 100%. My menu options might be labelled slightly diferently so poke around a bit.
