I have a Pearl 8130 with Verizon. I have a couple questions.

1. Can it be unlocked?
2. Will Verizon supply me with an unlock code?
3. Once I get the code how do I unlock?
4. If it's unlocked, what does that really do for me?

This phone can't be unlocked, it doesn't have a SIM card and won't work on any other network besides CDMA.

You cannot unlock CDMA phones. Basically you unlock a phone to use it on other carriers. GSM phones are typically the only ones you can do this with cause you can swap SIM cards in and out.
