Ok, I had a Pearl 8130 for my birthday! But Now, I pay to much/months because I pay for minutes 30$ and Data! Data = 25$/months
The question is: Can I Stop Data 25$?
I ask you the question cause I called Bell Mobilite and one persone tell me that will be ok and another persone tell me: if you stop Data, you gonna have some problemes to receive call ect...
But I never use Data :'(
Stopping your data has NO effect on your calls...they're just trying to force-market their data plan and thats not a nice thing to do to your customers, especially by scaring them into it!
I have bell mobility as well, no data plan.
It is not needed unless u want to browse the web. You can still load games, ringtones, pictures all the goodies thru your pc/usb and save that aweful data fee we have up in canada!
i have verizon, and they told me that i cannot take off the data plan. but lets say if i do take it off, do sending/receiving picture messages use internet or kb usage?
Verizon charges for each text and picture message and this does not mean data. You can get a package for XX amount of texts per month or Pics or and unlimited amount of both and this is over and above the costs for a data plan.
IMO, a Blackberry with no data plan is like a blind man with bifocals. Both are useless.
